Established in 1900, The Buena is a historical landmark on the Lower North Shore of Sydney.

In early October 2016, The Buena underwent an extensive renovation and is now home to three separate sections run by French chef Guillaume Brahimi and chef Ben Varela.  Downstairs is separated into The Buena and Bistro Moncur’s second restaurant, Bistro Moncur Mosman. Vista Bar is upstairs.

The look

Marble benchtops, pressed leather booths, wooden panelling and brass detailing throughout gives the pub a luxe look. Think lots of light through high windowed ceilings, and plants dotted throughout.

The restaurant itself is spacious, with plenty of room between tables, so wheeling in with a pram and positioning one of their high chairs at the end of your table won’t be an issue. The room itself is so inviting.

Parking

Paid street parking is available but can be a challenge.

Baby Change Facilities

There is a baby change table and the rooms get high praise from our members.

The Food at The Buena

The downstairs pub serves wood-fired pizzas only. At the centre is a statement island bar with craft beers, a well-rounded wine selection and a dynamic list of cocktails to appease any taste.

The $15 kids’ combo meal offers a main meal (pizza, fish ‘n chips, schnitzel & chips or spaghetti) plus a drink and ice cream for dessert.

High chairs are available.

Out & About Baby Tip

Bookings are recommended but when you go, you’ll feel right at home so get yourself to Mosman with your mum lunch crew asap. It won’t disappoint.
