The Belrose Hotel

The re-styled Belrose Hotel in Sydney’s Northern Beaches is a great place if you are after a comfortable and casual family lunch or dinner.

The Belrose is an immensely practical place for families with young children. As well as the play areas, there are lots of very wipeable tables and chairs plus a hard floor in the main bistro area; so spilt food dropped on the floor isn’t a major disaster.

In 2014, The Belrose Hotel received the ‘Best Family Friendly Hotel’ award from the Sydney Morning Herald Good Pub Food Guide and we have also included them in our own Out & About Baby round up of the 10 best Family Friendly Pubs in Sydney.

The Food

With a variety of options from your regular pub burgers right through to a house cured huon salmon salad, there are seemingly options catering to all tastes and diets.  They have even jumped on the Poke Bowl trend!

Long been famous for their food, the Belrose Hotel team believes that eating well isn’t just for adults and so their commitment to sourcing fresh Australian produce extends to the kids menu too.  So expect to see options like hidden veggie patties and a kids taco.

Play Area

The Belrose Hotel has the largest indoor ‘soft-play’ playground of any of hotel in Australia, with separate infant/toddler and kids’ play areas.  Parents can dine right next to the play areas and watch what their kids are getting up to through the clear walls while they eat in relative peace.

Please note: kids must be supervised while in the play area.

Parking

Plenty of on site parking is available.

Baby Change Facilities

A family room is available on site with changing facilities a microwave and private breastfeeding space.

My family loves the belrose hotel. We often have a 1y/o and a 7y/o with us and there are 2 play areas to keep them both happy. The 7y/o always makes friends and wears herself out which makes a great night for all.
I feel confident that the 1yo is save and can watch through glass windows. Ample of highchairs and great change facilities. We make Belrose hotel a regular for our family.
Plenty of parking and pram friendly.
