There’s always plenty happening at Taronga Zoo. With over 4,000 animals to see, over 20 keeper talks and shows a day, tours, events & concerts, there’s always a new reason to visit Taronga Zoo.

Wheelchair accessible toilets with drop down baby change mats are located at the north and south entrances, at the Food Market, outside the Function Centre and at the Concert Lawns. There is also a wheelchair accessible bathroom at Parents Change Room located near the Giraffe exhibit. Facilities are indicated on the Zoo map.
Getting to the zoo
Taronga Zoo is located on Bradleys Head, Mosman.
The quickest and easiest way to get to Taronga Zoo is by public transport. The Zoo is located 12 minutes from Circular Quay by ferry or a short bus/train trip from the city or North Sydney. Great discounts are offered with combined public transport and zoo entry tickets!
Parking is available at the Zoo. Entry to the car park is from Bradleys Head Road. The car park day rate is $18.
“Friends of the Zoo” only pay $9.

Eating and Drinking at Taronga Zoo
Taronga Zoo offers a great selection of seasonal food and beverage options to suit all our guests; Including spots to enjoy a hand packed picnic, to a variety of on-site options such as Taronga Piazza café at the main entrance, or The View restaurant in grounds.
Taronga Piazza – Located inside Taronga Zoo’s main entrance, where you can get a barista coffee or enjoy a selection of sandwiches and snacks. Be warned – there is often a very brazen bush turkey waddling around steal food from tiny toddlers.
The View – Taronga’s in grounds restaurant overlooking one of the best views of Sydney Harbour.
Also available are the Taronga Food Market for burgers, sandwiches and hot chips or The Fish Stop for seafood.
