Stuart Park

Stuart Park is a well-known, family favourite within the Wollongong area, and, for a good reason. It’s the perfect place for a family outing and with plenty of space for you and family. Bring your own BBQ picnic, go for a relaxing bike ride of cool off with a quick dip in the ocean.

With a recent renovation of the playground and equipment, kids have been flocking from all over for a chance to experience the awesomeness, that is the Stuart Park playground. The new equipment includes a “SkyTower” as well as a vast network of small paths for bike/scooter riding. And with plenty of kids around, your little one has the chance to make new friends and have the time of their life.

Stuart Park Play Areas

A park for children aged 1-12, they’ve got equipment that is suitable for toddlers, older children and even children in wheelchairs. With plenty of swings, flying foxes, climbing equipment and smaller wooden play areas, there’s no chance of missing out.

Stuart Park is located beach-side, a perfect escape from the frantic park experience. There’s also a large, open grass field nearby that skydivers use a landing pad. With beach-views and with skydivers dropping in from the sky, you really can’t get any better than that.

If you’re after a nice and tasty lunch, there’s plenty of dining options around the park. With cafes, restaurants and motels situated close-by, you won’t be leaving hungry.

Baby Change Facilities

You can find a baby change table at Stuart Park in the accessible public toilets.

The one down-side of this attraction is the parking. Stuart Park does tend to get quite busy and even with their plenty of parking spaces, you’ll be wishing you got there earlier! There’s also a parking inspector so be wary.

The perfect spot for a family picnic. Just BYO rugs and chairs.
