Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club is one of Noosa’s most well-known clubs, that has been catering to patrons and their families for several years. Whether you’re a rower or a sailor, or you’re just there to kick back and enjoy the riverside views, the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club is a great place to visit while in Noosa.
The Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club is located on the banks of the Noosa River, Noosaville, just outside the local hub at Noosa Heads. The club offers both indoor and outdoor dining, but to get the best views of the river, you can’t go past the outdoor area, complete with a large deck that looks over the river and the neighboring park below. The club also offer live music every Sunday, from 2pm- 5pm, so make sure you’re there for that.
The most important thing to note about the club when it comes to the menu, is that process for members and non-members may differ slightly (usually by a dollar or two). Like most places around Noosa, the club offers many vegetarian and gluten free options on its’ menu. They also allow for minor changes to most menu items.
The Noosa Yacht and Rowing club puts on a Breakfast buffet every Sunday from 8am -10am, and guests are welcome. Also, you are advised to make a booking for lunch or dinner as well, so that you can get the perfect spot to view the river.
FOR THE KIDS
The kids menu (‘for the tackers’) is catered to those 12 or under, and offers and array of your usual kids meals. From calamari and chips, spaghetti and meatballs, and fish tacos, there’s something for all the kids on offer. All kids meals also come with a free activity pack and ice cream, so you won’t have to worry about keeping them entertained too much.
There is also a great kids park right next door to the club, called the Pirate Playground. This park has lots of things to keep all the kids entertained, while you watch on from the Yacht Club veranda above.
The club is also wheelchair and pram accessible and they provide highchairs on request as well. There is also a baby change-table in the ladies toilet.
OUT AND ABOUT BABY TIP
The Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club is a drop off and pick up point for the Noosa Ferry. So, if you’re staying along the Noosa River, or visiting from somewhere further away, you can travel by the local ferry, rather than by car or taxi.
