Noosa Boathouse is a three-level restaurant, bar and events location that floats on the banks of the Noosa River, Noosaville. Escape the town for a night and relax the way only the locals know how, with some of the finest food and views that Noosa has to offer.
Noosa Boathouse is located on the waterfront of the Noosa River, Noosaville, just far enough away from the town center that you can experience the scenery and atmosphere that this part of Noosa has to offer. You’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful views and tranquility from one of the three restaurants attached to the Boathouse; The Fish and Chip shop, The Bistro or The Little Boaty Coffee shop, or enjoy a cocktail on the roof at The Sunset Bar.
Water taxis and regular taxis both operate in the area, so if you want to, you can leave the car at home and have a drink or two.
The menu at Noosa Boathouse well thought out and aims to accommodate even the fussiest of eaters. The restaurant has a vegetarian menu, which offers many different options for those who don’t eat meat and fish, such as an array of chips and dips, pastas and curries. Many of these dishes can also be made vegan on request.
There are also options for those who are gluten intolerant, and the request for these dishes can be made at the start of service, so just let the kitchen know if you have any intolerances before your meal is served. The restaurant also uses a lot of locally grown and sourced produce and meats, so you’ll be helping to support local business in the process.
FOR THE KIDS
The kids menu that Noosa Boathouse has to offer has some fairly standard kid-friendly dishes. These include fish and chips, penne napoli, bangers and mash, and calamari and chips. The best part though, is that all the dishes on the kids menu are only $10 each, so you won’t have to splash out to keep the little ones happy. The kids menu also features a colouring in sheet that comes with it, so they will also be entertained whilst they wait for their food.
OUT AND ABOUT BABY TIP
The Fish and Chip shop attached to the restaurant sells some of the finest seafood in the area. Because the produce is locally caught and the shop has a high turnover of customers, you’ll be sure to always have fresh food.
