Manjit’s @ The Wharf

Situated in the bustling heart of Sydney on King Street Wharf with magical views of Darling Harbour, Manjit’s @ The Wharf is an Indian dining sensation.

Take a culinary journey to the reimagined Indian cuisine that has been enjoyed by Sydney since 1984 led by Deep, Manjit Gujral and their team.

Immerse yourself in the scenic surrounds in Manjit’s newest city location with inspiring views and an innovative menu like nothing you have ever experienced. From the gol gol gappa to the mango pistachio kulfi, your idea of Indian cuisine will change forever.

We are honoured to have our family serve your family.” – Manjit Gujral

Out & About Baby Tip

The Gujral family let us in on a little secret – if you have kids, ask for nan bread with cottage cheese.  So simple, but the kids will love it.

How to get there

Manjit’s is on the top street level of King Street Wharf – Just up from the old Cargo Bar (HA! Remember those days? Or is that just me?).

Your best bet is to catch a ferry. But if you have to drive, there is relatively cheap parking on Sussex Street.

Baby Change Facilities

There is a drop down change mat in the women’s toilets.

What a fun place! The kids are definitely welcome here and catered for too. Cheesy Naan and butter chicken – happy kids! Staff were super helpful and attentive so made for an easy lunch with a gorgeous view.

You can tell this restaurant is owned by a family who live (love) and breathe what they do.
The staff were incredibly accomodating to my little guy who was completely new to Indian food and we felt incredibly welcome. Add to the lovely atmosphere a beautiful view on a sunny afternoon and its a spot of Sydney I had forgotten but will be visiting much more regularly now.
