Featured in the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Café Guide, Long Shot Cafe is owned by a local Beecroft couple who set out to create a place where customers and staff are treated like family.
Convenient location and access
Position next to a playground, it’s a perfect setting to help burn off the little ones energy before you have a comfortable sit back in the cafe. It is also located above a children’s book shop and has a lovely outdoor courtyard area. All essential child and baby-related amenities are available on site.
Being part of Beecroft village, there is a large Woolworths providing lots of free parking and Beecroft train station is located across the road if you’re on foot.
The kids menu gets a focus at lunchtime
Proving a seasonal menu, there is standard breakfast fare with no child specific menu but the range of pastry and toast options should cater for their growing needs. These are freshly baked everyday and they also pride themselves on catering for dietary requirements, so there’s plenty of gluten free (and even some coeliac) options. Lunch runs from 12pm to 2pm, with a kids menu featuring yummy bites from cheese toasties, grilled chicken, cheesy macaroni and mini chips.
Throughout the day they serve up a selection of coffee from Morgan’s Coffee Roasters, artisan teas, milkshakes and house-made cold pressed juice.
Out & About Baby Tip
Kill 3 birds with one stone. Do the weekly grocery shopping, let the tots run wild in the playground and reward yourself with a good coffee and some delicious food at the Long Shot Cafe.
