A few blocks removed from the hustle and bustle of the CBD streets, The Langham Sydney feels like a peaceful world unto itself, with luxurious furnishings, elegant rooms and attentive staff.
A recent refurbishment has resulted in chic and elegant interiors that will make you want to run home and redesign your whole house The pink taxi parked in front of The Langham hails from London, but inside the hotel the vibe leans more towards a Parisian salon. Beyond the bright white-marble lobby and sparkling chandeliers, clusters of round-backed armchairs and curved, teal sofas in the Palm Court bar surround tables uniformly adorned with perfect pale-pink roses.
More than just your basic free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs and in room tea and coffee facilities, the real stand out at the Langham Sydney is the indoor pool under a starlit sky, along with the quintessential 5 star spa facilities to reclaim a bit of ‘me’ time.
The in house restaurant, Bistro Remy, offers both a buffet and A La-Carte menu, boasting the very best of Australian produce for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel also plays host to the much lauded Afternoon Tea With Wedgwood 7 days a week.
Each sophisticated room or suite is quite large by regular hotel room standards. Suites add living areas, kitchenettes, and even some with dining areas or bars. We recommend either the 2 bedroom “Residence” suite with extra beds on request or the slightly less expensive “Executive Room” when you are travelling with your family.
The Langham Sydney is located on a quiet street at The Rocks. This tranquil location is the centre of The Rocks district and is conveniently located within 2kms to the iconic Sydney Opera House.
If you’re taking a flight, it’s located roughly 9kms from Sydney Airport so you won’t be traveling too far.
Paid street parking is available around the local streets.
