The new Harold Park play area development ticks a lot of boxes on the MUMOKI list. Right next to the Inner West dining precinct Tramsheds, there is a huge green open space surrounding shaded play equipment, good coffee, Messina Icecream, easy parking, and clean baby change facilities all in one spot. There’s also LOTS of seating around the playground and around the BBQs.
The brand new custom-built playground at Harold Park includes slides, swings and a timber climbing-stack built in the shape of a cruise ship come tree house. There is also a sand pit, balancing beams and teepee cubby houses for imaginative play!
There is not a fence around the play equipment. However, even if you have a runner it still manages to feel safe. There is a huge sandstone cliff wall on one side and a huge 3.8 hectare grassed are to run around so even if your kids have a tendency to go wild, they won’t get in too much trouble.
