The Entertainment Quarter Moore Park (or The EQ as the locals call it) is an iconic entertainment, leisure and retail precinct located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
Featuring cinemas, restaurants, bars and shops, mostly surrounding The Showring – the outdoor performance and event space. It is also the home of The EQ Village Markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Situated immediately adjacent to the Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium, Fox Studios, The Hordern Pavilion and The Royal Hall of Industries, the 11.08 hectare site benefits from the major sporting and entertainment events that are held regularly at these facilities.
EQ offers ample public parking for over 2000 cars. For casual parking, the first 2 hours are free. Parking rates apply for stays over 2 hours.
Parking is open from 6am to 2am, 7 days a week.
The Entertainment Quarter has two children’s playgrounds. They are both located between the Showring and the Coach Bay, next to Monkey Mania.
Please take note of the opening times, age limitation and other conditions of entry which can be found at the entrance of the playgrounds.
Baby change facilities are located near the kids playground opposite Monkey Mania, and next to Plaster Painting Studio. It is equipped with kids’ toilets, private feeding facilities and change tables.
Conveniently located undercover on the Showring, the Moore Park Produce Market brings the best NSW and ACT growers, producers, chefs and artisans to the Entertainment Quarter every Wednesday and Saturday from 8AM – 2PM.
Eating with Kids at The Entertainment Quarter
There are plenty of options when it comes to eating and drinking at EQ, however two of our favourite restaurants to sit and eat with the kids are the new Fratelli Fresh and The Bavarian Bier Cafe.
